WHAT YOUR GIFT MAKES POSSIBLE
SANDY'S STORY
Found as a stray in Alabama, Sandy made her way to Wisconsin at just 11 months old.
But shortly after arriving her foster mom noticed something wasn't right and within weeks Sandy was no longer able to walk more than a step or two.
Diagnosed with torn CCLs (the equivalent of a human ACL) in both knees and a luxating patella, Sandy needed surgery to have a chance at the life she deserved.
Without hesitation from the rescue, Sandy received the bilateral TTA and luxating patella correction surgery she needed.
Now, thanks to MPM, Sandy not only walks but runs and plays like the goofy young dog she was meant to be.

POPCORN'S STORY
Popcorn was just 16 weeks old when MPM found out she had a grade 4 heart murmur.
In order for Popcorn to live, it was determined that she would need a stent placed. MPM worked closely with UW Madison Veterinary to complete this process. At 7 months old, Popcorn underwent this life saving procedure and her heart was given new beats.
Popcorn lived the next several months with her amazing foster mom and she finally got to race full speed ahead.
MPM did lose Popcorn but it was not without giving her a chance to live her best life.
